Useful explanations. Checkable sources.

The Schumann Pulse field guide is published by BitForge Pte. Ltd., the maker of Schumann Pulse. Its purpose is to help readers understand environmental observations without turning a chart into an unsupported claim.

Sources come with the explanation

We prioritize original agency documentation, university and observatory pages, instrument descriptions and scientific papers. Links appear beside the relevant explanation and in a source section. When a source only establishes historical research, we do not describe it as proof of a live feed.

What the review date means

“Reviewed” is the date on which the article’s text and cited references were checked for this publication. It is not the date of every observation discussed, a guarantee of continuing source availability or a claim of external scientific peer review. Rebuilding the website does not automatically refresh that date.

Authorship and AI assistance

Our guides are attributed to Schumann Pulse as the responsible publisher. AI tools assist with research, drafting, coding and some illustrations. We do not invent individual experts, academic credentials, interviews or endorsements. AI assistance does not replace the cited sources; readers can inspect those sources directly.

Images, films and graphs

Captions distinguish observations from artistic illustrations. NASA/SDO footage retains its observation date, instrument and credit. Reused onboarding imagery is labelled as illustration. Teaching charts use authored data or published scale definitions and are not presented as current readings or personal records.

Educational NASA imagery is used with attribution under NASA’s media guidelines. Its use does not imply NASA endorses Schumann Pulse. Third-party station plots are linked rather than copied without permission.

Historical photographs, portrait reproductions and drawings are identified separately. Credits name the source, creator where established, reuse basis and web-export changes. We omit imagery with unresolved identity or rights rather than generate a replacement portrait. Our station map uses published coordinates and public-domain Natural Earth geometry; it is not a live-status map. Diagram labels are repeated or explained in the article text.

Uncertainty belongs in the answer

We distinguish frequency from amplitude, forecasts from observations, and missing data from measured zero. Associations do not automatically establish causes. These guides do not diagnose symptoms, prescribe treatment or turn space-weather scales into a personal wellbeing score.

Corrections and updates

Send a correction to support@bitforge.cloud with the page URL, the statement and a supporting reference. Substantive corrections should update the explanation and its review date; significant changes should include a visible correction note. We do not change dates merely to make a page look new.

Commercial context

Schumann Pulse is a commercial app with optional Pro features. Educational pages may link to the app. Source citations are not paid endorsements. App availability and subscription information are described on the product pages, separately from the scientific explanation.
